Wii need to just think about this.

I love reading anything that "fitness experts" write, because their advice is always about as revolutionary as "if you eat a lot of crap and don't exercise, you'll probably get fat."

Anyone who has played Wii Sports for 15 minutes knows it gets your heart rate up, but now some credible "experts" are saying it. A recent study shows that playing Wii Sports burns about 2x as many calories as playing conventional video games, and could actually help kids drop over 20lbs/year. Now this isn't really surprising; getting lazy inactive kids to swing their arms around for a while every day actually raises the rate of their under-exercised heart muscles. And of course there are other "experts" quick to point out that Wii exercise isn't enough, also common sense.

All I know is that last night I played a few games of Wii baseball, boxing and tennis, and it felt pretty good to move around for a while and blow off some steam. Also, I had a lot of fun. But really, I got the Wii for the exercise, Mom.

It doesn't just provide you with exercise: It's also a pornography portal. Or whatever. I guess.
