Today's extended presentation departs from the light-hearted nature of the previous
Random Dredd segments. This sequence from
2000 AD Prog 1479 (15 Mar 2006) is just such a perfect example of Dredd's cold adherence to The Law that I had to share it. The first panel is just awesome.
So he makes the kill shot, taking down the fugitive. What's so dark? Well, you'd need to know who the fugitive was.
Damn, that's dark. Maybe she looked older, maybe he didn't know. Maybe he has some doubt about what he's done...
Okay, this guy is scary.
